How to Use Magnet for Interactive Video Forms

Step 1: Access the RecRam Dashboard
Log into your RecRam account and navigate to the dashboard where you can manage your Magnet settings and forms.

Step 2: Create or Select a Group
If you don’t already have a workspace, create one by clicking Create Magnet Group on the left menu. Enter a name for the workspace to group and organize your forms.

Step 3: Create a Form with RecRam Forms
To use Magnet, you’ll first need a form created with the RecRam Forms module.

  • Click New Form in the workspace.
  • Choose Create Yourself or Create with AI to design your form.
  • Customize the form with videos, questions, and conditional logic as needed.

Step 4: Navigate to Magnet Settings
Once your form is ready, go to the Magnet Module from the dashboard. Magnet allows you to display your form as a small pop-up widget on your website.

Step 5: Configure the Magnet Widget
In the Magnet settings:

  • Select a Form: Link one of your existing forms to the Magnet widget.
  • Customize Appearance: Adjust the position (e.g., bottom-right or bottom-left), color, and size of the widget to match your brand.
  • Add Welcome Video: Upload a short video that will play when users click the widget. This could be a greeting or an explanation of what the form is about.

Step 6: Set Interaction Triggers
Configure triggers to decide how and when the widget will appear on your website. For example:

  • On Page Load: The widget pops up as soon as the page loads.
  • On User Scroll: The widget appears after the user scrolls a certain percentage of the page.
  • After Inactivity: The widget displays if the user is idle for a specific time.

Step 7: Generate and Add the Magnet Script
Once your widget is configured:

  • Click Generate Code to create the embed script for the Magnet widget.
  • Copy the script and paste it into your website’s HTML, typically before the closing </head> tag.

Step 8: Test Your Magnet Widget
Visit your website to ensure the widget displays as intended. Test its functionality by clicking the widget and verifying that the form loads and works seamlessly.

Step 9: Monitor Engagement
Return to the RecRam dashboard to track user interactions with your Magnet widget. Analyze metrics like click-through rates, form submissions, and completion rates.

Magnet combines interactivity with seamless website integration, ensuring your visitors engage with your forms directly through a convenient pop-up widget.
